I LOVE ice cream! There is no denying it! It can fix almost anything.
Sore throat = ice cream
Bad Day = ice cream
Something to celebrate = ice cream
Need a little pick me up = ice cream
See what I mean?
And, ice cream was the inspiration for this gorgeous wedding styled shoot I put together with Jessica from Red Letter Event Planning. I envisioned something fresh and different than all the other weddings I had seen lately. I wanted something fun and playful. Jessica really helped me pull my vision together along with all the amazing vendors listed at the end of the post. We had an amazing team and it all began with our beautiful venue- The Foxwood House in Newport WA along with the Scoop’s Ice Cream truck!
As we met with our stationary designer, Nicole Mae Paper Design, we came up with a color palette and decided to highlight sprinkles as our topping of choice for our ice cream. It gave us a good starting point to base our other design choices around.
Flowers were done by aNeMonE. If you’ve never seen their work you are in for a treat. Their paper flowers are beyond amazing! And, again went with our fun, unique, and playful theme!
Don’t you love our bride’s gown? It is from Celestial Selections in the Spokane Valley. One of the things I was determined to have was a short wedding gown. Again- fun, playful, unique! The groom’s tux is courtesy of the Tuxedo Gallery in downtown Spokane. If you want a wide selection for your man to choose from than this is your spot! They had so many options for us to choose from!
To round out our wedding vendors we had- Hair by Jenn Barlos from Kiss and Makeup, Makeup by Shasta Hankins, and Linens from Event Rents.
