Metallic Bloom

Remember the Spokane Women’s Show? At the show I told you I was next to the amazing girls from Fringe Salon and Boutique and also Metallic Bloom. Fringe Salon is family owned business here in Spokane located on the South Hill. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Hillary, one of the sisters, and creator of Metallic Bloom is the oldest of 7 just like me. Not only that, but our youngest siblings are the same age! Her daughter’s name is the one that I wanted to use for my

Happy Birthday to You!!!

This last week has been full kleenex, vitamins, snot, cough drops, lots of water, naps, cuddles, and any kind of cold medicine I could find.  Yep, you guessed it we’ve had a cold bug at our house.  Gotta love school age children bringing home all kinds of special bugs!    It started with Riley having a cough for about a week, and then on Valentines day Aubrey and I both came down with a cold / temperature, and then within a day my husband came down with it too.  In the midst of all our

Best of 2011

Today is all

Reflection- Bloom 52 {Spokane WA Photographer}

This week’s theme is Reflection Today marked the first day of kindergarten for my little guy!  We are so fortunate to be in the Cheney School District where they have a preschool program that he was apart of last year and now he will be attending elementary school there.  I can’t believe it has been a year already since he started preschool!  I’m sure in no time I’ll be remembering this day as he starts 1st grade. Last year starting preschool- This year starting

Color {Spokane WA Photographer}

This week’s theme for the Bloom 52 Challenge- COLOR When I saw the theme for this week my mind went immediately to Crayons.  At our house we’ve been getting ready for our oldest to go to Kindergarten.  We’ve done the school supply shopping, plus just re-stocked our supply.  We have quite the little artists in our house, so we go through crayons pretty fast.  =D I have to admit I love fresh crayons- I love the smell, the fresh pointy tips, the bright colored wrappers….
