Human Connection {Spokane WA Kids Photographer}

It’s time for another edition of the Bloom 52 Challenge.  This week’s theme is Human Connection. For my interpretation of the theme I chose to take some pictures of my children in our garden.  During the summer most of our family time at night is spent out in the garden.  We pick, weed, enjoy the vegetables, and harvest at least 3 or 4 nights a week.  To me this is what the connection is all about, both kids learning how to care for the garden and enjoying working (and the eating!)

I Heart Faces- Props {Spokane WA Kids Photographer}

This week’s theme over at I Heart Faces is “Props”. I love using props, in fact I just had to clean my guest room out so my sister and brother in law could sleep in there.  My props had over taken the room.  =)  I loved that this little girl brought her special stuffed Lamb with her, combined with the fun new pendents and bench I had gotten = perfection!!! Shot from Your Spot {Spokane WA Childrens Photographer}

It has been awhile, but I’m finally joining my Bloom ladies again for the 52 Challenge. This week’s theme is a Shot from Your Spot.  It is all about everyday life, and what we see on a daily basis. The last 2 weeks for us have been filled with swimming lessons for both my munchkins.  It has definitely kept us busy.  Riley is part fish, and has absolutely loved every minute of it.  This was his 3rd session, and he has had a blast.  Aubrey, on the other hand, has had fun, but has

What to Wear- Sibling Edition {Spokane WA Kids Photographer}

It is time for another What to Wear edition, up this time is a sibling edition. As with all my What to Wear posts I’m not saying you have to go out and buy these exact outfits, although if you want to that is great too! These are meant to give you some ideas as to what makes up a great outfit. You’ll see I’ve mixed textures, finishes, added some bling, and fun colors to each one. You’ll notice the little things make a big difference! Spokane WA Children’s

Beautiful Miss K {Spokane WA Children’s Photographer

You may remember Miss K from her little sneak peek on the blog a few weeks ago.  This adorable little girl just turned 1 and in typical 1 year old fashion was constantly on the move.  She was full of personality and kept me on my toes.  We had lots of fun playing with apples, in the fields, and anywhere else she could convince us to go. I finally got my wish last week.  We got nice weather- 3 whole days of it!!!  I had 2 client shoots lined up, but decided to take the 3rd day to get my little munchkins out and do their pictures.  Since both their birthdays are in the winter we usually have to wait until spring to get their pictures done.  I had it all planned out in my head, but reminded myself as with all child shoots that you have to work with them, even if they’re your own kids. My husband had been set on a mission a

Miss K, a Sneak Peek {Spokane WA Childrens Photographer}

Last night I got the privilege of taking Miss K’s 1 year old portraits. It was especially fun, because Miss K’s momma is Dani’s cousin. You might remember Dani from her Senior pictures as well as the Rock the Frock shoot. Dani even accompanied them as Miss K’s personal stylist. =) Miss K was full of smiles and personality for me. Its been awhile since I’ve gotten my hands on someone her age, so I had tons of fun. It also helped that we had our nicest day of the

My Munchkins {Spokane WA Childrens Photographer}

I’ve been dying to get outside and get some new images of my kiddos.  It has felt like the cold will never end, and did I mention the rain?!  I feel like I live in Seattle, but without the benefit of the warmer temperatures.  As of Saturday we actually set a record for the coldest spring on record (we finally hit 60!), and earlier in the week we set a record for SNOW accumulation.  So, of course when we did have a nicer day I took them out and tried to get a few images.  It still was
