This week’s theme with my Bloom 52 project with the ladies over on the Bloom forum is-
Of course when I thought of playful I thought of my children playing, more specifically my son. He has an amazing imagination and is constantly making up some story line for himself. He recently started watching dvds of the original Transformers cartoons from the 80’s. He is obsessed with all things Transformers. Since he doesn’t have very many of actual Transformer toys yet he
I can’t believe another week has gone by, and it is time to post another Bloom 52 Challenge post. This week’s theme is Celebration. Just two weeks ago we celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday. I finally got to upload the images earlier this week and saw this picture of her, and knew this is what celebration is about.

Next in line to share what celebration means to her is…

This week’s theme for the Bloom 52 Challenge is FEET. I love feet, I love shoes, and painted toes, and bare toes in the grass. Unfortunately the bare feet and toes just don’t work right now. In fact it kind of feels like we might experience it. This has been one long winter, and I’m ready for the snow to go away. Since I couldn’t get the feet I really wanted I wanted to share on of my son’s pictures from this fall. His big boy feet in his new shoes for
Another week gone by another installment of My World / Your World with my fabulous partner Stephanie Tanner at Little Face Photography, and the equally fabulous ladies at 4 the Love of Focus. This week’s theme was motivation, and it was a harder one for me. I had a hard time getting motivated (haha… I’m so funny. 😉 for this one. It might have something to do with taking care of my husband, who is still recovering from surgery, taking one trip to the peditrician
I’m excited to share a new project that I’ve started with the fabulous ladies over at Bloom. Each week I’ll be participating with a group of ladies with a shared theme. This weeks theme- Shades of Red. It is up to each of us to decide what that means to us. Since we just celebrated Valentines day that is of course where my head went. Since Aubrey was my willing subject in my last post I had plans for fun little shoot with Riley for this theme. Unfortunately, he had other
It is time for another edition of my weekly project with the ladies over at 4 the Love of Focus. This week’s theme was shadows. I decided to take a very different approach to the theme. While many of the ladies captured the shadow of an object I chose to photograph my shadow- my daughter. Over the last almost 3 years I have had an almost constant companion. She is forever wanting up, snuggles, loves, to do whatever I’m doing, and to watch up close and personal when I work on
This week’s theme over at I Heart Faces is Red in honor of Go Red for Women Month. This picture is my little girl with her special Valentine outfit on, and her new red heart puppy she received for Valentines day. My hope is that by the time she is my age that she won’t have to worry about heart disease. I love the look of pure happiness with her arms stretched out celebrating the day.
First off a big thank you to everyone that braved the crazy Spokane roads and came out to see us at the Holiday Shopping Event last Friday.
Congratulations to Katy Lindhag, from Discovery Toys, she won a free session, and wall print at the Shopping Night!
I put together a couple slideshows to be able to play at my table. I had such a great time looking back over the images that I captured for all my fabulous clients I just had to share!
Best of 2010
I love all my seniors so much I had to do
I always love a good session- one that goes the way you envision, or sometimes it goes even better than you envision it. Even better when it is a session with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Most photographers will break out in a cold sweat at the thought of it. Imagine how happy I was when this 3 year old and 1 year old were so cooperative for me, it might have helped a bit that it was my niece and nephew, and I bribed them with playtime with their cousins and a cookie if they were good for
