My Pirates {Spokane, WA Children’s Photographer}

Months ago my son decided he wanted to be a pirate, all so he could get this pirate gun he saw at a party store.  He begged and pleaded to get it, promising me he would be a pirate for Halloween if that meant he could get the gun.  I finally caved, after all it was only $4 and even if he changed his mind I was sure he’d get our money’s worth out of it.  Then I had the great idea to dress them both as pirates.  Aubrey had just started making this face all the time, and it quickly

My Little Man {Spokane WA Children’s Photographer}

My little guy turns 5 in just a couple weeks.  I can’t believe how the time has flown by!  It seems like just the other day we were bringing him home from the hospital.  Since we had a day with no rain, and it isn’t bone cold quite yet I figured it was a good time to get out and get his pictures done.  He was so excited to go out, especially when I told him I was taking him downtown- just like the big kids he asked?  SO cute!  Right when we got down there the wind picked up, and it

Orchard- I Heart Faces {Spokane WA Children’s Photographer}

This week I Heart Faces theme is Orchard.  Anyone from Spokane, WA knows that we have lots of orchards here- Greenbluff is a favorite spot for all ages.  We made a trip up this summer to get peaches- yum!  I’m hoping next weekend our house will be healthy once again and we can make our annual trip to get apples and pumpkins, oh and maybe sneak in a pumpkin donut too! Here is one of Aubrey at Harvest House-

I Heart Faces… Smirk {Spokane, WA Children’s Photographer}

One of the blogs I follow is I Heart Faces, in fact I just won a year membership to Animoto Pro from them.  Hooray!!!  Each week they have a different theme, for people to submit photos for a contest.  I’ve never entered before, but as soon as I saw this theme I immediately thought of this picture of Aubrey.  This is definitely her little smirky, I’m gonna get you face.  I love it, and I love my girlie!

31 {Spokane, WA Family, Children, Sr. Photographer}

Today is my 31st birthday! I know, shocking right?! Luckily birthdays don’t bug me. Last year when I turned 30 I think my family kept waiting for it to bother me. I just kept saying it felt right- we had just built our house, I have 2 kids, my own business,…. I am supposed to be 30! I feel the same way this year. In honor of my birthday I’m holding my own special celebration for all of you. Now through Monday, September 6th if you book a regular session your session fee

Nerf War at Spokane Paintball Club {Spokane, WA Children’s Photographer}

Riley has been going to the Nerf games at the Spokane Paintball Club now for awhile. It is a morning full of fun for kids ages 5 and up. They all come with their nerf gear- guns, darts, and goggles and run around shooting each other for 3 hours. The first game it is the kids againest the “monster”, then they broke up into teams and played just each other. The last game it was the kids vs. the Dads. This was my first time coming and it was a ton of fun to watch, and of course take

Growing Up {Spokane, WA Children’s Photographer}

I can’t believe how big my baby girl is getting! She just turned 2.5 and it feels like it is going by way too fast. Today we had a monsterous 20 degree temperature drop, gotta love Spokane weather!, so we broke out some new fall clothes. She is going through this phase where all she wants to wear are dresses. When I got it out for her so was so excited to put it on, and then I told her she could wear her new ballet slippers with it she was thrilled. She’s looked so stinkin’
