Let’s Go Blue Jays,

LET’S GO!!!! It is time for another edition of my 10 on 10 group.  This group of photographers from 4 the Love of Focus have banded together to share 10 of our images on the 10th of each month.  The theme is entirely up to us individually.  It is simple to stretch us to document our own daily lives.  After you’re finished here you can go visit Amy Shertzer, a Los Angeles Photographer Riley just finished up his first baseball experience, t-ball with the West Plains Little League.

Spokane WA Women's Show

Spokane Women’s Show

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of being part of the Spokane Women’s Show at the Spokane Convention Center, which was part of Susan G Kohman, Race for the Cure. It was an amazing event with so many great vendors. One of my favorite parts of the whole weekend was having people walk by and exclaim that they knew someone that I had photographed… so fun!!! Plus, I had the fun of being next to Fringe Salon and Boutique, which is located on Spokane’s South Hill on 29th

Studio Makeover

Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Yep, that pretty much describes my Wednesday-Sunday of last week. I have been wanting to create some indoor studio space for a year or more. In fact it is in my 5 year plan. 😉 Unfortunately, I’m a bit inpatient, so for the last month or so I’ve been scheming how I can come up with a temporary spot to use during our long and deary winter months and the ever present rain that we seem to have lately. My plan- to turn our guest room (that is maybe used 3x a year! If you don’t

After Dark…

I can’t believe I’m just now blogging my images from my time at After Dark Education!  I was able to travel to Tucson, AZ in November for a few days.  I joined over 300 other photographers for lots of fun, LOTS of images taken, little sleep, and lots of learning.  If you’re a photographer and have never experience After Dark before I’d highly recommend it.  It truly is an experience like  non other!  This was my second time, and I’m already looking forward to the

Seattle- Part 1- The Woodland Zoo

This July we took our kids on their first vacation.  We headed over to Seattle, WA with my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and 3 of my other siblings.  The kids did an amazing job on the drive over for their first longer drive.  I think Aubrey spent the first hour in the car just staring at her new backpack and telling us about it.  So cute! We spent one day at the Woodland Park zoo in northern Seattle.  The last time we were at the zoo was in Portland for my sister’s wedding.  Riley
