I Heart Faces… Smiles {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

This week at I Heart Faces the theme is Smiles.  Talk about a tough choice!  I love how a smile can say so many things- a look of pure joy, a glimpse of the personality, a hint at a secret, or a laugh held back.  This image is defintitely a look or pure joy.  I took this at a Friend session, something special I offer for a group of friends.  This group was 6 Seniors celebrating their Senior Year.    It was one my most fun and favorite sessions.  If you would like to see some more Smiles head

2010 {Spokane, WA Photographer

First off a big thank you to everyone that braved the crazy Spokane roads and came out to see us at the Holiday Shopping Event last Friday. Congratulations to Katy Lindhag, from Discovery Toys, she won a free session, and wall print at the Shopping Night! I put together a couple slideshows to be able to play at my table.  I had such a great time looking back over the images that I captured for all my fabulous clients I just had to share!  Best of 2010 I love all my seniors so much I had to do

Lewis and Clark Seniors {Spokane, WA Photographer Portrait Party}

I am really excited about this blog post, because it features a bunch of really sweet girls that are all Seniors at Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, WA. One of the girls won the session from me with a giveaway I featured on my facebook page. She got to invite 5 friends to join her for a session at the location of their choice to make some fun memories. We all had a blast dispite the rain and nasty weather, and then had even more fun when they got to view their images all together. The

Baylee- Class of 2011 {Spokane WA Senior Photographer}

Baylee was my Senior Rep this year, and she was amazing!  A member of the class of 2011 at Lewis and Clark High school, and one of the co-captains of their drill team she is one busy girl.  She had 2 sessions with me- one of the perks of being a Senior Rep!- were we went to downtown Spokane, the train tracks, my fields, and into the Peaceful Valley.  Each time I had so much fun with her on our adventures!  I know she is going to have an amazing Senior year!

Adam- Class of 2011 {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

I had the pleasure of doing Adam’s family’s portraits this summer, and then got to meet up with him again for his Senior pictures.  He is a member of the Lewis and Clark High school class of 2011 in Spokane, WA.  I love me some L.C. Seniors!  We went into downtown Spokane and explored until we ran out of light!  Thanks to all our lovely road construction we were even able to get some great shots we might not typically have gotten, at least not without being run over!  Hope you have

Who Wants to Win? {Spokane, WA Senior Photographer}

I just returned from my 4 days at After Dark Education. It was an amazing experience. I walked away from it inspired, armed with more knowledge, and dead tired! I got the opportunity to sit and listen to some seriously amazing photographers, especially geared to Seniors. I loved getting learn all the fun new products, sessions, and techniques they use. One of the things that I heard about for the first time are “Friend Sessions”. Basically it just a session for a group of friends to

Today is my 31st birthday! I know, shocking right?! Luckily birthdays don’t bug me. Last year when I turned 30 I think my family kept waiting for it to bother me. I just kept saying it felt right- we had just built our house, I have 2 kids, my own business,…. I am supposed to be 30! I feel the same way this year. In honor of my birthday I’m holding my own special celebration for all of you. Now through Monday, September 6th if you book a regular session your session fee

Marina- Class of 2011 {Spokane, Cheney WA Senior Photographer}

Marina, is another member of the 2011 graduating class. She will be graduating from Cheney Highschool- the same school my kiddos will be attending many years down the road! We met via facebook, and then in real life at her session. She is such a sweet heart, and it truly was a honor to be able to capture this moment in her life. Love you Marina, and best of luck to you in your Senior year, and whatever the future holds!
