Happy Birthday to You!!!

This last week has been full kleenex, vitamins, snot, cough drops, lots of water, naps, cuddles, and any kind of cold medicine I could find.  Yep, you guessed it we’ve had a cold bug at our house.  Gotta love school age children bringing home all kinds of special bugs! :(  It started with Riley having a cough for about a week, and then on Valentines day Aubrey and I both came down with a cold / temperature, and then within a day my husband came down with it too.  In the midst of all our being sick my little girlie celebrated her 4th birthday!  It is hard to believe that the tiny little peanut of a thing that made her entrance into the world very quickly in the middle of the night 4 years ago is now a beautiful little girl!

Before we had gotten sick we had planned her birthday celebration for this last weekend.  Despite the fact that we were sick we decided to go ahead with a “modified” party.  I wasn’t able to do all the fun little decor things I had planned, so we opted to do a second party with her cousins and friends another day to do all the fun things.  Since she is only 4 you can’t totally cancel a planned party though.  Stay tuned for the next party with all the fun little details, plus a big announcement!

Here are just a couple shots from this weekend…
