Lollipops and a Rockstar {Spokane, WA Childrens Photographer}

I finally got my wish last week.  We got nice weather- 3 whole days of it!!!  I had 2 client shoots lined up, but decided to take the 3rd day to get my little munchkins out and do their pictures.  Since both their birthdays are in the winter we usually have to wait until spring to get their pictures done.  I had it all planned out in my head, but reminded myself as with all child shoots that you have to work with them, even if they’re your own kids.

My husband had been set on a mission a couple months ago to find me a pink guitar, and man did he ever pull through!  Aubrey LOVES music, loves to dance, and sing, so I wanted to capture that part of her personality in her pictures.  As I snapped away she serenaded us with the Dora theme song, Little Mermaid, and her other current favorite song- Colbie Caillat’s “I Do”.

The other part of the shoot was all about the Lollis!  I love the bright colors and nothing can make my kids happier than a giant candy.  =)  It took some serious willpower on their parts not to immediately start chomping into them right away.  They complied and let me get in a couple shots before we gave them the okay to take a bite.  😉
