Leadership- Bloom 52 {Spokane, WA Photographer}

This week’s theme with my Bloom group is Leadership, in honor of President’s day.  I must say I have completely stumped for quite awhile.  Of course, the first thing that came to mind was my husband- as he is the head or leader of our family.  Since he absolutely hates having his picture taken I thought it wasn’t going to work.  I kept thinking about leadship and this thought came to mind-

“To walk a mile in your shoes”

I’ve often heard this statement in reference to a leader.  It is a hard job, and you can never truly understand it until you walk in their shoes.  So that is how I came to this image.  These are my husband’s work boots.  The boots he puts on everyday in order to go to work, take care of our family, and lead us to our future.

To take a peek at another member of my group you can pop over to Lori Jaeski’s blog.

  • I like how you’ve shown strength and experience all in one photograph without even showing a face. Even the detail of “magnum” and the dirt on his boots says that he works hard. Well done!ReplyCancel
