Joy is a member of the Class of 2013 from Shadle Park High School. You might remember Joy from the Model Shoot I did awhile back. For her Senior session Joy wanted to do something totally different. She decided to do a stylized 1950’s shoot. Joy is a fan of everything from the 1950’s era, so it was a fun fit for her. When you do a stylized session one of the things that makes a huge impact is your clothing choices, even more so than a normal session. The clothes can mean the difference between pulling it off or just adding some fun props. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Joy definitely pulled it off! Then when you add in some fun props- a glass coke bottle (of course!), a red and white straw, a Harley, and a 1950’s cruiser bicycle, plus a great location to get us started (Thank you Stop-n-Go for allowing us to use your diner!) you walk away with a great session! After we were done at the diner we headed out to a local park to finish off her session with some more typical clothes (Mom’s request). It was a pleasure to work with Joy again.
It isn’t too late to have your totally unique and one of a kind senior session! I’d love to hear what you love and make your images stand apart from everyone else’s.
