Linnea attends Cheney High School, which someday (WAY off in the future is where my kids will most likely attend high school) Since Cheney doesn’t allow props of any kind in year book pictures I knew we’d have to be a little more creative. No fun furniture, her flute, or anything else. It all worked out perfectly though, not that I was too terribly worried about it. 😉
We started out at the Finch Arboretum…. I always love coming here, because there is so much scenery to use that it never gets old. While at the Arboretum we found some of the prettiest light, I love how it just enveloped her in a warm haze! From the Arboretum we made our way to a spot on the South Hill that I fell in love with last year, but had yet to shoot there this year. It once again proved to be a favorite spot! After we were done there we had just enough time left to head to this little spot of state land that I drive by all the time off the Pullman Highway. It turned out to be a perfect little spot, and super easy to get to, and we got some great images in the field and road.
At the ordering session we had so much fun, I love watching daughters interact with their moms as they try to decide which pictures are favorites. Linnea right away knew she loved one a lot, and it is going to be her yearbook image. Mom liked it alright, but wasn’t as fond of it, that is until Linnea just kept going on and on about it. Every time we’d cycle through the images I’d hear this little happy sign as we went by it. Turns out Mom came around and it ended up being a favorite of hers too!
If you still haven’t gotten your senior pictures done, there is still time, but don’t delay! I’d love to create a memorable experience and images for YOU!
