Alice In Wonderland

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share Carrie’s Rock Your Frock Session!  You may remember Carrie from her and Max’s wedding last fall.  We did this session just before their one year anniversary.

Now, what you may ask is a “Rock Your Frock” session?  Well, simply put it is you out there rockin’ your frock.  😉  Rock Your Frock sessions can be done using your wedding gown, a wedding gown that isn’t yours, or a prom dress.  Basically we go out and have some fun taking pictures you never would have done on your wedding day or prom for fear that you might get your dress a bit dirty.

For Carrie’s session we knew wanted to something fun and dramatic.  We came up with the Alice in Wonderland theme.  I loved how we were able to mix things from the classic version of Alice in Wonderland- the books, teacups, the blue bow in the bouquet and pocket watch with the Johnny Dep version- the bright lips, sassy hair, bold hat, and just whimsical style.  We headed down into the beautiful River Front Park in Downtown Spokane and began at the landmark Carousel.  From there roamed around the park, heading over to the beautiful Clock Tower, the Spokane River, and then around into the Meadow.

We definitely created quite the stir as we walked around, we had several people actually follow us from one spot to the next curious to see what we’d do next!  And, yes someone even asked if Carrie would hold her baby so she could take a picture of them together!  Carrie was such a good sport she agreed, they snapped their picture and went on their way!

If you are interested in a Rock Your Frock session now is the time to book one.  I’m offering the next 2 people that book their session a $100 print credit!

I have to give special thanks to some amazing people that partnered with me on this session- Shasta Hankins, Makeup Artist; Finders Keepers– the adorable hat; and Epiphany Floral for the fabulous bouquet!

See, I bet you thought I was joking about the baby, didn’t you! 😉
